Assistant & After Care Teacher
11:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Enlightened Journey Montessori School is seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic individual to join our community. This dual-role position is vital to our school's daily rhythm; you will provide essential support to our Elementary classroom before transitioning to lead our after-school program.
We are looking for a dedicated educator who can maintain a calm, respectful environment where children can relax, complete homework, and engage in meaningful social and enrichment activities after their academic day.
Responsibilities:

Supervise children ages Kindergarten through Middle School (as applicable)

Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment

Support homework completion
-
Lead indoor/outdoor activities and enrichment projects

Communicate professionally with parents and staff
-
Uphold Montessori values of respect, independence, and responsibility
Qualifications:

Experience working with children (school or childcare setting preferred)

Warm, patient, and positive attitude
-
Reliable and punctual
-
Strong classroom management skills
-
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
